1 Week Out:
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin elastic and your pain tolerance high.
Sun Protection: Avoid burns. Use SPF 30+ if you’re outdoors; I cannot tattoo sunburned skin.
Skin Care: Gently exfoliate once or twice the week leading up to your appointment. Don't over-exfoliate; aim for soft, healthy skin, not irritation. Moisturize the area daily.
Day Of:
Fuel Up: Eat a full meal 1–2 hours before your session to stabilize blood sugar and manage pain.
Rest: Get a full night’s sleep.
Dress Comfortably: Wear loose clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo site.
Stay Clear: Avoid alcohol or ibuprofen, as these can thin your blood and affect the tattooing process.
Bring: Pack comfort items like headphones, snacks, water, a blanket, or fidgets.
